Install in about a minute

Your LidLoft mounts two ways. Both use the two included #6 × ½″ screws through the countersunk holes in the body.

Option 1 — Under a cabinet shelf (lids hang below)

  1. Pick your spot. Hold LidLoft against the underside of a shelf, slots facing down. Leave at least 4″ (10 cm) of clearance below for your tallest lids.
  2. Mark the holes. Use a pencil through the two countersunk screw holes.
  3. Drive the screws. Fasten the two included #6 × ½″ screws with a Phillips screwdriver until the base sits flush. Don't overtighten.
  4. Load your lids. Slide each lid into a slot. Done.

Option 2 — Inside a drawer (against the drawer wall, slots facing up)

  1. Position it. Hold LidLoft flat against the inside wall of a drawer, slots facing up.
  2. Check the drawer closes. LidLoft is 1″ (26 mm) deep — confirm clearance with a lid in place before you mount.
  3. Mark, then screw. Pencil-mark through the two holes, then drive the included screws until flush. For thin drawer walls (under ½″), use shorter screws or the adhesive method below.
  4. Drop your lids in. They stand upright, separated, ready.

Prefer not to drill? (renter-friendly)

LidLoft's flat back also works with heavy-duty double-sided mounting tape (like 3M VHB, sold at any hardware store — not included). Clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol, apply tape across the full back, press firmly for 30 seconds, and wait one hour before loading lids.

Positioning tips

  • Mount near where you unload the dishwasher — the best spot is the one you'll actually use.
  • The 5-Slot is 4.1″ wide; the 10-Slot is 7.7″ wide. Both are 4.5″ deep and 1″ tall.
  • Screws work in wood, plywood, and MDF cabinet material. For metal or glass, use the tape method.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my lids?
Yes — LidLoft holds virtually any food-storage container lid, square or round: IKEA 365+, Rubbermaid, Pyrex, Snapware, Glad, and store brands. (It's not designed for pot lids.)

What's included in the box?
Your LidLoft organizer and two #6 × ½″ mounting screws. That's everything you need for a standard install.

Can I remove it later?
Yes. Back out the two screws — the small holes are easy to fill. Tape installs remove clean with a slow, steady pull (warm the tape with a hair dryer first).

Which direction should the slots face?
Under a shelf: slots face down, lids hang. In a drawer: slots face up, lids stand.
